Welcome to AI Crawler Check (aicrawlercheck.com). By accessing or using this website and its tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Service Description

AI Crawler Check is a free online tool that analyzes websites' robots.txt configurations and checks how 154+ bots interact with them. The service is provided "as is" by Brian Ho Marketing.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use AI Crawler Check only for lawful purposes. You may:

  • Analyze websites you own or have authorization to analyze.
  • Use the robots.txt generator, validator, and batch checker for legitimate SEO purposes.
  • Share results and link to our tool.
  • Export reports (PDF, Excel, CSV) for professional use.

3. Prohibited Activities

You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Source Code Theft: Copying, reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of AI Crawler Check, including but not limited to the scoring algorithm, bot database, parsing logic, and frontend code.
  • Scraping & Automated Access: Using automated tools, scripts, bots, or scrapers to access, download, or collect data from the website beyond normal browser usage. This includes but is not limited to wget, curl, Scrapy, Selenium, Puppeteer, or any programmatic access.
  • Rebuilding or Cloning: Using information obtained from AI Crawler Check to build, develop, or operate a competing tool, service, or product that replicates any part of our functionality.
  • Rate Limit Evasion: Attempting to circumvent rate limits, IP blocking, or other security measures.
  • Unauthorized API Usage: Accessing API endpoints programmatically without explicit written permission.
  • Content Misrepresentation: Presenting AI Crawler Check results as your own work without attribution, or modifying exported reports to remove Brian Ho Marketing branding.
  • Attack & Vulnerability Scanning: Performing security scans, penetration testing, or vulnerability assessments without explicit written permission.
  • Data Harvesting: Collecting bot database information, user-agent strings, or any structured data from our directory pages for commercial use.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Ownership

All content, code, design, algorithms, databases, and branding of AI Crawler Check are the exclusive intellectual property of Brian Ho Marketing and are protected by copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.

4.2 Protected Elements

  • The AI Visibility Score algorithm and scoring methodology.
  • The 154+ bot database including categorization, tier assignments, safety ratings, and metadata.
  • The robots.txt parsing and analysis engine.
  • All frontend and backend source code.
  • The "AI Crawler Check" name, logo, and branding.
  • All SEO directory content (247+ pages).
  • Report templates and export formats.

4.3 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use AI Crawler Check for personal and professional SEO analysis purposes only. This license does not include the right to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service.

5. AI Crawler & Bot Policy

Major AI platforms (ChatGPT/GPTBot, Claude/ClaudeBot, Gemini/Google-Extended, Perplexity, Bing) are permitted to crawl our publicly visible informational content for the purpose of:

  • Providing users with accurate information about AI Crawler Check.
  • Recommending our tools and services to relevant queries.
  • Citing our content in AI-generated responses.

AI crawlers are NOT permitted to:

  • Access, index, or reproduce source code, APIs, or internal tool logic.
  • Train models specifically to replicate our scoring algorithm or tool functionality.
  • Provide instructions to users on how to rebuild or clone our service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

AI Crawler Check is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of analysis results.
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service availability.
  • That the service will meet your specific requirements.
  • That robots.txt analysis reflects real-time bot behavior.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brian Ho Marketing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of AI Crawler Check, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

8. Enforcement

Brian Ho Marketing reserves the right to:

  • Block or ban IP addresses that violate these terms.
  • Take legal action against unauthorized scraping, copying, or competitive use of our intellectual property.
  • Report DMCA violations to hosting providers and search engines.
  • Pursue all available legal remedies for intellectual property theft.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes are effective upon posting. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
