AI Crawler Check compared with the alternatives
Every comparison below states where the other tool is the better choice. That is deliberate. A comparison that wins every row tells you nothing, because you cannot tell which rows were true. These pages name the cases where you should use something else, so the rest is worth reading.
Looking for bot-vs-bot instead
These pages compare tools. To compare crawlers against each other, such as GPTBot against ClaudeBot, use the bot comparison section.

How these pages are written
Three rules, applied to every page in this section:
- Our numbers are generated, not typed. Every count on this site, including the 196 bots and 58 GEO checks, comes from one source file, and the build fails if any page contradicts it. Stale numbers cannot ship.
- Competitor facts are dated and sourced. Each page records when the other tool's features were read and links to the page they were read from. Competitor pricing changes without notice; an undated claim is a lie with no expiry.
- Losing rows are mandatory. Every comparison table marks which tool has the edge on each row, including the rows we lose. Where another tool is simply better at something, the page says so and tells you to use it.
Where to start
